Whether you are just starting out on your fertility journey, or you are already working with other health professionals, Dr. Blair can provide guidance, emotional support, and customized acupuncture treatments tailored to your specific fertility needs. Dr. Blair will conduct a thorough intake discussing health history, any existing conditions, and where you are currently at in your fertility journey to provide you with a personalized treatment plan. Dr. Blair works for you, not your other doctors!
How does acupuncture benefit fertility? Acupuncture helps to improve egg quality, regulate hormones and menstrual cycles, improves circulation to the ovaries and uterus, promotes relaxation, and can improve underlying conditions that may be affecting fertility.
How soon and how often should I receive acupuncture treatments for fertility? Acupuncture treatments have a cumulative effect, so we recommended starting as soon as possible! Acupuncture treatments can be done once or twice a week and should be continued through conception and the first trimester.
What is included in fertility treatments? In addition to acupuncture treatments for fertility, Dr. Blair also provides text/email support, diet and lifestyle counseling, conception/IVF education, a review of supplements, and review or ordering lab work.
What is the cost of acupuncture for fertility? The initial consultation and treatment cost is $145 and last for 90 minutes and follow up treatments cost $90 and last about 60 minutes.

Dr. Blair is a certified childbirth educator, full spectrum doula, and lactation consultant and has 8 years of experience working with pregnant patients. Acupuncture is a safe and effective way to help reduce some of those pesky pregnancy symptoms and help you feel your best while you are growing life! (How cool is that?) Whether you are looking for acupuncture treatments, labor induction, child birth education, or some support, Dr. Blair has you covered.
How often should I come in for acupuncture treatments while pregnant? We recommend coming in for acupuncture treatments at least once a month, and more if necessary to provide relief from symptoms.
How does acupuncture work for inducing labor? There are acupuncture points we typically avoid during labor because they can cause uterine contractions. Starting at 37 or 38 weeks, we use all those forbidden points to stimulate the uterus and cervix (fun stuff)! Acupuncture to induce labor has a cumulative effect so we recommend coming in twice a week until labor begins.
What is childbirth education? Childbirth education is tailored to your needs and includes discussions about pregnancy progression, labor and delivery, comfort measures, infant feeding, infant sleep, and anything else you may need to know. Childbirth education can be done through video sessions or in person.
What is included during lactation consultations? During lactation consultations we can trouble shoot problems, assess latch, nursing positions, bottle feeding techniques, pumping strategies, and nipple care.

Time after having a baby can be tricky, but Dr. Blair is here to help take some of the guesswork out of the postpartum period. Dr. Blair offers acupuncture services to rebalance and nourish after childbirth, lactation counseling to help with nursing/ pumping/ bottle feeding, infant sleep education, text support for the endless questions that pop into your head, and home visits.
